Privacy Policy

Interim production version — pending legal review. This temporary policy describes the main categories and uses of information in TrimSlot while qualified Nigerian counsel reviews the full policy. It is not represented as lawyer-approved.

1. Information we may process

Depending on your use of TrimSlot, we may process:

• Account details such as name, phone number, email, role and authentication records.
• Barber profile details, shop location, photos, services, prices and availability.
• Booking details, queue activity, cancellations, reviews and support requests.
• Payment references, amounts, transaction status, refund status and limited payout setup details.
• Policy acceptance records, notification preferences and technical/security logs needed to operate and protect the service.

Payment card credentials are handled by the payment provider. Do not send card PINs, passwords or one-time banking codes through messages.

2. How information is used

We use information to create and secure accounts, show listings, manage bookings and queues, verify payments, handle refunds and support, send service notifications, prevent fraud, maintain reliability, resolve disputes and comply with applicable law.

3. Who may receive information

Information may be shared as needed with the barber involved in a booking, payment providers and banks, hosting/database/notification providers, authorised administrators, or authorities where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information as a product.

4. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain booking and payment records, address disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal or accounting obligations. Some records may need to remain after account deletion. We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

5. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your information, and request deletion or restriction where available. Use account controls or the Help option. We may verify identity before acting and may need to retain certain records for legal, financial or security reasons. You may also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority.

6. Storage and notifications

Browser storage and session mechanisms support sign-in, security and preferences. Push notifications require device/browser permission where supported; you can disable them in device or browser settings. See the Cookie and Notification Notice.

7. Children and changes

Accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older. We may update this policy when our practices, product or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date appear above. Use the Help option for privacy requests; formal controller and contact details will be completed after legal review.
